SCHOLARSHIP
Dragon Sport are launching a scholarship to find the next talented driver who will race alongside Rhys Lloyd in a fully funded seat for the 2024 Britcar Trophy in the Clio Cup class.
The aim of the scholarship is to find the next big thing in endurance and tin top racing. We are looking for a driver either; graduating from karting, looking to progress their racing career, or perhaps someone new that aspires to get into endurance racing. We have got the platform to give ‘YOU’ a car for 2024 including guidance, coaching and the opportunity to race in the Britcar Trophy Championship!

CRITERIA FOR ENTRY
To be eligible for the prize you must be:
- Between the age of 16 and 30 on the 25th March 2024
- Have held a racing licence (Kart or Car) in the last three years and be able to hold one in 2024
- Have a desire to race in the 2024 Britcar Trophy Championship
HOW TO ENTER
Entries open on the 6th August 2023 and will close on Friday 2nd February 2024. You will need to submit our form which includes a few personal details and questions about your racing experience and aspirations as well as a few details to help us run the day smoothly.
Entry to the scholarship costs £499.
THE PROCESS
All eligible entrants will be invited to our assessment day taking place in February 2024 at Blyton Park. On the day you will drive a Britcar Trophy spec Renault Clio Cup car and be assessed on your driving ability, media skills, and fitness levels, amongst other criteria.
Depending on the number of entries we will either decide a winner on the day or host a scholarship final with a select number of drivers to decide a winner. This additional day will have no further admission cost.

A turn key season prize with a roadmap for endurance series with a platform to try a TCR car and sample European endurance series!!
The winner will be able to organise additional test days throughout the season at their own cost. The winner will be liable for damage costs caused by them with the option to take out insurance.
Runners up will be given a position in the Dragon Sport Academy providing access to the team, coaches and be able to gain experience by attending events.
